"....your playing is really beautiful—your delicacy in teasing out the various little melodic lines may be, I suspect, the first time in history that such care has been taken with these pieces…at least since Kontski himself.  I was surprised at the quality of much of the music; the salon pathos and sentiment is really elegantly realized, from a compositional standpoint.  The suite of dances are attractive, but probably least interesting; there are really lots of good ideas in the other pieces.  And the relationship to Chopin is clear...."
